Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and commercial invoices.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Monitor shipment status and track packages using logistics software and tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Manage inventory levels related to outgoing shipments and assist in warehouse organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding terms and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
