Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage, mentor, and train a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies to minimize accidents.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control to ensure accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Optimize workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on operations, labor hours, and productivity metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations and at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is highly preferred.
- Forklift certification and ability to operate various material handling equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
