Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound freight shipments via various modes (truck, rail, air).
- Track shipments in real-time to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any logistical bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, bills of lading, and inventory logs in our ERP system.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status.
- Ensure strict adherence to DOT and FMCSA regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and process customs documentation for international shipments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
