Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier negotiations
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize warehouse operations to prevent delays
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS/WMS systems and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain service levels
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to align on delivery timelines
- Prepare shipping manifests, bills of lading, and compliance documentation
- Analyze shipping performance metrics and identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations (FMC, IATA)
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Highly detail-oriented with proven accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certification a plus
