Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order fulfillment, documentation, and carrier scheduling
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with 3PL carriers to reduce transportation costs
- Maintain real-time inventory tracking and resolve discrepancies in WMS systems
- Act as primary liaison between warehouse, sales, and transportation teams
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and international shipping protocols
- Generate daily shipping reports and KPI dashboards for management review
- Implement continuous process improvements for shipping efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and export regulations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume operations
- Forklift certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
