Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound/outbound shipments using TMS software
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and packing lists
- Track shipments proactively and resolve transportation delays
- Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and vendors for timely deliveries
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Optimize shipping routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Prepare monthly shipping reports for management review
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of FTL/LTL shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure situations
- Forklift certification preferred
- Experience with cross-border shipping (Mexico/Canada) a plus
