Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ocean, ground)
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize transit times and costs
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and exceptions with proactive communication
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams for seamless operations
- Track shipments in real-time and provide clients with proactive updates
- Continuously improve processes using logistics software and data analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ShipStation)
- Deep knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and export compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
- Strong negotiation skills with carriers and vendors
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally for warehouse verification
