Responsibilities
- Process Shipping Orders: Prepare, package, and label domestic and international shipments accurately and efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Carrier Coordination: Liaise with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers to schedule pickups, track transit status, and resolve any logistical issues.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all outgoing inventory and reconcile any discrepancies in the shipping logs.
- Documentation: Prepare and verify essential shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
- Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve shipping delays, damages, or missing packages promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations is highly desired.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or warehouse management software is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external carriers.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
