Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation preparation and customs clearance
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs while meeting delivery deadlines
- Track and trace shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and packaging
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and carrier issues with urgency and precision
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, L/C procedures, and customs documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Problem-solving mindset with proven ability to resolve logistical disruptions
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
