- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier communications
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with ocean, air, and ground carriers
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve customs issues and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading and unloading of containers
- Generate shipping reports and maintain accurate shipment records
- Build relationships with vendors and clients to enhance service quality
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Descartes, Oracle Transportation Management)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and export compliance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to handle urgent shipment disruptions
- Exceptional attention to detail in documentation and data management
- Valid forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- Strong communication skills for coordinating across global teams
