Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate contracts with shipping carriers to minimize costs
- Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment orders for shipping supplies
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions for delays/damages
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and international teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
- Generate shipping reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international trade regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-border coordination
- Certified in Logistics & Transportation (CLTD) or equivalent preferred
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure situations
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Valid driver's license required
