Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Retrieve merchandise from storage areas and prepare orders accurately for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels by performing regular cycle counts and updating inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards and customer requirements.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Process orders quickly and efficiently to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, scan barcodes, and verify order accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
