Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts, stock organization, and cycle counts to ensure accurate warehouse records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Properly wrap, secure, and stack pallets to ensure maximum stability and prevent damage during transport.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area to prevent accidents and ensure workflow efficiency.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs, checklists, and shipping/receiving paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and operate machinery for 8+ hours.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions, count accurately, and spot discrepancies in inventory.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
