Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy lifting.
- Accurately receive, verify, and organize inventory using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and loading dock areas.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and throughput targets.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A, B, or C Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide certificate).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory logging.
