Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Organize and stack inventory according to established safety and organizational guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and potential issues.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional forklift operating experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as required.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
