Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and report any malfunctions immediately to management.
- Ensure proper inventory management by accurately scanning and organizing stock in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift batteries and tires.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and record-keeping.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
