Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts safely to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on all equipment to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock organization and storage.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company protocols, and warehouse policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow efficiency and meet daily targets.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the work area and forklift machinery.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license or equivalent certification is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operation or material handling experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
