Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stock audits.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to identify potential maintenance or safety issues.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Follow all company policies regarding material handling and workplace safety.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on forklifts as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Flexibility to work overtime and varying shifts as needed.
