As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that materials are moved safely and efficiently in one of the busiest port cities in the US.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load and unload shipping containers and trucks.
- Perform daily safety inspections of equipment and facility compliance.
- Manage inventory accuracy through scanning and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (CDL not required but preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
