Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials to and from the dock and storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and stock incoming shipments, ensuring proper organization and placement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Packaging & Labeling: Assist in the wrapping, labeling, and securing of goods for shipment.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We provide on-the-job training for candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read scales and perform basic inventory counts.
