Responsibilities
- Retrieve and select merchandise from warehouse shelves based on picking tickets and orders.
- Accurately pack items into boxes, ensuring they are secure and properly labeled for shipping.
- Operate standard warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours).
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and handling currency.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (climate-controlled facility).
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
