Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including documentation preparation and customs clearance
- Manage freight bookings and negotiate rates with carriers to optimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time using WMS/TMS systems and provide proactive updates
- Resolve logistics disruptions and implement contingency plans
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and vendor teams for seamless order fulfillment
- Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, FDA)
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker or ISTA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export/import regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
