Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy against inventory logs.
- Packaging: Properly package and label goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery in a safe and compliant manner.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting and checking inventory.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus.
