Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Accurately count and record inventory movements using handheld scanners or logging sheets.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as palletizing and shrink-wrapping as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift license (training available for qualified candidates).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use warehouse management software.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
