Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, move, and store materials in the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Move pallets and skids safely to designated storage locations or shipping areas.
- Ensure all inventory is organized, labeled, and tracked accurately within the warehouse system.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience is required; comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math and reading skills required for safety documentation and inventory checks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as business needs arise.
