Responsibilities
- Sort, pick, pack, and verify quantities of merchandise for shipment, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to all safety regulations at all times.
- Process customer returns and damaged goods according to Amazon standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and operational goals.
- Utilize handheld scanners and computer systems to track inventory and shipments.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by handling packages with care.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 49 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
