Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper placement of goods in designated storage areas.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to identify potential hazards or mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Document all daily activities and any incidents in the company’s logbooks.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA Certified Forklift Operator License (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
