Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organize inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage locations.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties within the warehouse to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning labels and logging inventory.
