Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper documentation.
- Move stock and materials to and from storage areas or shipping docks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and equipment.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as requested by management.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts when necessary.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong ability to read and understand safety labels and operational instructions.
