Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and conveyors, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from shelves and package them for shipment using proper labeling techniques.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and performing cycle counts.
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely within safety guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any issues to management immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a history of punctual attendance.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required for entry-level roles).
- Driving: Valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory for this position.
