Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring cargo security.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial equipment (Forklift, Order Picker) safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company and customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse terrain.
- Availability: Must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift work and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse software or handheld scanners is a plus.
