Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders; update inventory records accurately.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload trucks and containers safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for the right candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting, labeling, and organizing stock.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic Math: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for inventory counting and verification.
