Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Perform regular inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Packing & Shipping: Properly package, label, and prepare goods for shipment or storage according to company standards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and identify any damages or discrepancies.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and 5S guidelines.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including packing lists and receiving logs.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment (MHE) in compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation and be willing to work scheduled shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and shipping tasks.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
