Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload freight from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Utilize RF scanners and WMS software to track inventory levels and ensure accuracy during stock transfers.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Material Handling: Move raw materials and finished goods to designated storage areas, organizing them for easy retrieval.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips, delivery notes, and daily log reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices (RF guns) is a plus.
- Certification: Forklift certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
