Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipping using warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, under supervision.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock integrity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently handle the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight trucks.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and ensure packaging meets customer standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with shift supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory checks.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and inventory counting.
