Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move heavy inventory safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent discrepancies.
- Truck Loading: Load and unload trailers in an organized manner, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damages or defects before processing them for shipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Licensing: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is a plus (training available if no experience).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with the ability to work overtime when necessary.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy, ability to read and understand pick tickets, and strong attention to detail.
