Responsibilities
- Retrieve and pick merchandise from shelves using RF scanners or handheld devices, ensuring accurate order numbers and item descriptions.
- Package items securely using appropriate wrapping materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Inspect items for quality and defects before packing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Operate basic warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Sort, pack, and label boxes for shipment to customers and distribution centers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail stocking, or fulfillment center environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn warehouse management software (WMS) quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work weekends, as well as occasional overtime during peak seasons.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
