Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring products are handled with care and placed in designated areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in inventory counts and stock organization to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; ability to read pick tickets and packing slips.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
