Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto and off of trucks, pallets, and conveyor belts.
- Inventory Management: Assist in organizing, checking, and stocking inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks as required to move materials.
- Packaging: Properly package items to prevent damage during transit.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Documentation: Verify shipping documents and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipping.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
