Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Accuracy: Check merchandise for damage and verify counts against packing lists.
- Organization: Maintain an organized warehouse layout to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to stock.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of machinery and report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the shipping and receiving departments to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50-70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; on-site training provided.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
