Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto delivery trucks and warehouse shelves using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of stock and completing necessary documentation.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment (including pallet jacks and scanners) efficiently and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Cargo Safety: Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure all safety guidelines are followed during handling.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily productivity targets and support warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: Demonstrated ability to show up on time and work well with minimal supervision.
