Responsibilities
- Safely Load and Unload: Load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment.
- Inventory Management: Sort, organize, and stage inventory in designated warehouse areas to ensure accuracy and efficient retrieval.
- Documentation: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage, completing necessary paperwork.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency and meet daily targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on handling equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk on various surfaces.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic math skills and attention to detail for scanning, labeling, and inventory counts.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
