Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport products safely to designated storage areas or delivery trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by counting items, checking labels, and ensuring accuracy against work orders.
- Pack, seal, and label products securely for shipment to prevent damage.
- Operate warehouse equipment (training provided) and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required for entry-level loaders).
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse facility.
