Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks with precision and speed, ensuring cargo safety and timely processing.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment to transport inventory.
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, checking for damages or discrepancies immediately.
- Prepare items for shipment by packing, labeling, and organizing pallets according to standard procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist in inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with team leads to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50-70 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and keen attention to detail for inventory verification.
- Reliable transportation and a proven track record of punctuality.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire (highly desirable).
