Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately select items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipping using handheld scanners and RF equipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by logging stock movements and ensuring stock levels are up to date.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery to transport goods.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent damage during transit.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other departments to streamline warehouse operations and resolve logistical challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, picking, or logistics is a plus but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, barcodes, and pick tickets with precision.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort using handheld scanners.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if necessary.
