Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies to minimize risks.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and implement inventory control procedures.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports regarding operational performance, staff hours, and inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with management to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Valid forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment is mandatory.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
