Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Manage and mentor 15+ warehouse staff with performance evaluations
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory control systems and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and purchasing teams
- Utilize WMS software for inventory tracking and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong leadership skills with conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Data analysis experience for KPI monitoring
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied climate conditions
