Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Manage 15+ person team with performance metrics, training, and conflict resolution
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain ISO-certified compliance standards
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (SAP/JDA experience preferred)
- Coordinate cross-functional relationships with transportation and customer service teams
- Analyze operational data to reduce costs and improve productivity KPIs
- Conduct regular audits and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in DC/Maryland/Virginia region
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience using KPI dashboards
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
