Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Lead and mentor a team of 20+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and training
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and ensure workplace compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems to achieve 99.5%+ accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless workflow and on-time deliveries
- Analyze operational metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and forklift operator certifications
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on productivity, inventory, and operational KPIs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent leadership capabilities with proven team development track record
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse automation systems
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
