Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping activities
- Train and supervise team members on equipment usage, safety protocols, and inventory management systems
- Implement lean practices to improve productivity and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain 99.5% inventory accuracy
- Ensure OSHA compliance and foster a zero-accident safety culture
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with equipment operation background
- Forklift certification and proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to meet productivity metrics in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
